McCarthy Stone is looking for a professional Care & Support Assistant to join their team at the stunning estate Thomas Court in Cardiff.

Base Salary: £11.58 per hour plus additional pay (see below)

About the role:

As a Care & Support Assistant, you will provide high-quality individual care to residents, enabling them to live well in later life. Your duties will include housekeeping, domestic support, and encouraging residents to participate in activities that promote health and wellbeing. You will assist with booking appointments, arranging transport, escorting visits, and shopping assistance. The role offers variety and the chance to make a real difference using your people skills.

About you:
  • You are warm, friendly, and ideally have experience in care or support environments.
  • You are passionate about enhancing the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
  • You enjoy working as part of a team in a busy setting.
  • You are committed to delivering excellent customer service.
  • You are interested in working in the Health and Social Care sector. A QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults) is preferred, but relevant experience and alternative qualifications will be considered.
