Job description

Stephen James Consulting are pleased to be partnering with one of their Not-for-Profit providers clients in the search for a Care and Compliance Manager based in Cambridgeshire.

This newly created role will assist the Registered Manager by leading the care team in achieving and where possible surpassing, care standards resolute by CQC and the Local Authority Contract Monitoring, and internal bench marking.

You will be responsible for:

• The Care and Compliance Manager will work with the care team and Home Manager to solve common operational issues and develop action plans to effectively improve the care and quality of the home in accordance with the providers policies and procedures.
  
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with the statutory, government registration bodies, professional partners and contract monitoring teams to ensure that the home conforms to best practice guidelines in the delivery of care to their residents.
  
• Maintain close working relationships with professional partners to achieve successful clinical care outcomes, and achievement of management performance objectives.
  
• To take overall responsibility for the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.

To be considered for this role of General Care Manager you will need the following experience:

• You will have 18 months / 2 years management experience within residential or dementia care setting.
  
• Exceptional organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks.
