What you will do:
• Assist the Cards Manager in executing card-related projects
• Translate business needs into technical specifications
• Initiate technical changes with TSYS and Mastercard that affect card functionality within the payment ecosystem
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide card-related guidance and support on projects, ensuring thorough impact assessments on the card platform and operations
• Serve as the Metro Bank liaison with TSYS, Mastercard, and VocaLink, participating in meetings and business reviews
• Review TSYS and Mastercard release documentation and compliance mandates, and assess their potential impact on Metro's card offerings
• Represent Metro Bank's interests in industry card working groups, addressing regulatory changes affecting card products, such as Persistent Debt, CIMS, Gaming and Gambling, and Contactless Transport
• Submit project requests to suppliers for card product enhancements and modifications
• Prepare and distribute monthly mandatory management information (MI) reports for external parties (Apple, Pay.UK, Vocalink) to relevant internal stakeholders
