Qualifications

Work location: Texas Health Denton: 3000 N I-35 Denton, Texas 76201

Work hours: Full Time (40 Hour) Day Shift

Qualifications - External

Education

  • Associate's Degree Applied Science Req Or
  • Other completion of accredited program in cardiovascular technology Must obtain RCIS within 6 months of hire Req Or
  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent 2 Years work experience in invasive cardiology Req

Experience

  • 1 Year vascular or cardiac angiography Pref or
  • 2 Years required with high school diploma Req

Licenses and Certifications

  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Req
  • GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist If ARRT Only Upon Hire Pref
  • RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Obtain within 6 months if graduate from Cardiovascular Accredited Program Upon Hire Req
  • LMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist If RCIS Only Upon Hire Pref
  • RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist For Electrophysiology Labs (EP) Only Upon Hire Req
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req

Our four-story specialty center for women and infants features 12 labor and delivery beds, 2 C-section suites along with 6 antepartum and 24 postpartum beds. Texas Health Denton is the city’s only provider of obstetrical and neonatal intensive care services and is the largest provider of obstetrical services in Denton County. The ground floor houses a breast imaging center, outpatient physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation and an internal medicine residency program.
