Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is inviting applications for a Senior Fellow in Cardiothoracic Critical Care. The post supports adult cardiothoracic critical care, including transplantation, ECMO, TOE, and related procedures.

Applicants should be close to completing specialist training or already completed with NTN/OOP options as described. The appointment is for six to twelve months from February 2027, with NHS terms and ongoing involvement in research, teaching, and clinical

Qualifications

• FRCA/MRCP/MRCS or equivalent would be advantageous.
• Experience in cardiothoracic critical care and related procedures.
• Demonstrates effective judgement, decision-making and research governance.

Responsabilités

• Participate in delivery of critical care services, teaching and audit activities.
• Maintain a logbook and progress records; participate in performance reviews.
• Provide out-of-hours cover and support for ICU operations across the hospital.
