Job summary

Qualifications

• IELTS or OET for IMG's (English language requirement).
• GMC Registration (General Medical Council) required.
• Ability to cope with varying workload and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Appropriate clinical responsibility for patients delegated by the consultant.
• Co-responsibility for proper functioning of Cardiology Medicine department and supervision of junior staff.
• Participation in registrar on-call rota and cover in exceptional circumstances.
• Attendance at clinics, ward rounds, and case conferences; formulate treatment decisions with consultant input.
• Engage in teaching and training of staff and students; work within a multidisciplinary team.
