Job summary

Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant in Cardiology with a specialist interest in Echocardiography for the Harefield Hospital, Uxbridge site. The post is full-time (10 sessions/week) with no on-call commitment, contributing to echo imaging services and teaching with opportunities across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in echocardiography including advanced techniques.
• Accreditation in echocardiography and participation in teaching.

Responsibilities

• Weekly outpatient and echo clinics.
• Support the Consultant of the Week and Consultant of the Day rota.
• Be flexible to provide outreach clinics and diagnostic services.
• Contribute to teaching and audit activities.
