A UK healthcare provider is looking for an Administrative Officer to support the Cardiology service. Key responsibilities include managing patient caseloads, scheduling appointments, and liaising with clinical teams. Candidates should have a good standard of education and experience in a busy environment. This role demands strong organizational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
The post holder will be responsible for a range of administrative functions for the Cardiology service within the Specialist Medicine directorate including organising appointments, liaising with the clinical teams, dealing with queries from patients/relatives, carers, GPs and liaising with consultants, clinical nurse specialists and Service Managers. The post holder must have the ability to manage and prioritise their workload whilst working under pressure and be able to communicate with staff at all levels.
