Qualifications

• Nurse with specialised cardiothoracic critical care experience.
• Registration to practice as a nurse is required.
• Experience with post-operative cardiothoracic patients is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent, individualized specialist nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Act as shift leader and team leader for nursing staff.
• Support education, training and professional development through IPR processes.
• Lead or participate in audit and research within Critical Care.
• Act as a specialist information resource for internal and external staff.
• Deputise for the Matron when required.
