A healthcare institution in Calow seeks a professional to assist with a range of cardiac investigations for inpatients and outpatients. Key tasks include performing 12 Lead ECGs and fitting ambulatory monitors. The role promises flexible working arrangements and is part of an integrated health and social care community. Ideal candidates will work with a supportive team to ensure patient care and service efficiency.
You will assist with providing a range of cardiac investigations on inpatients and outpatients whilst supported by a team of Cardiac Physiologists. This role includes performing 12 Lead ECGs on both inpatients and outpatients. There is an opportunity to independently fit ambulatory 24/48 hour ECG monitors and longer Cardiac Event Monitors, set up and download ambulatory ECG monitors in readiness for analysis, and fit ambulatory blood pressure monitors and print results. There is also an opportunity to complete the SCST Certificate in Electrocardiography.

Initially based in Chesterfield, there may be future opportunities to be based at different locations within the health and social care community.
Chesterfield Royal Hospital is located in Calow, Chesterfield, on a green field site near the Peak District National Park. It is home to the Crooked Spire and is close to Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham, offering access to diverse recreational activities. The hospital provides acute in-patient and out-patient care for Chesterfield and the surrounding rural area of North Derbyshire, serving a population of approximately 400,000 people.
