Job description

Overview

You will assist with providing a range of cardiac investigations on inpatients and outpatients whilst supported by a team of Cardiac Physiologists. This role includes performing 12 Lead ECGs on both inpatients and outpatients. There is an opportunity to independently fit ambulatory 24/48 hour ECG monitors and longer Cardiac Event Monitors, set up and download ambulatory ECG monitors in readiness for analysis, and fit ambulatory blood pressure monitors and print results. There is also an opportunity to complete the SCST Certificate in Electrocardiography.

• Independently fit ambulatory 24/48 hour ECG monitors and longer Cardiac Event Monitors.
• Set up and download ambulatory ECG monitors in readiness for analysis.
• Fit ambulatory blood pressure monitors and print results.
• Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the Cardio-Respiratory service as an active member of the team, ensuring courtesy, privacy, confidentiality and respect at all times to patients, relatives, staff and colleagues.
