Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Site Manager for a well-established client in Cardiff. You will take ownership of day-to-day site operations, coordinating trades and subcontractors for roofing and cladding, ensuring safety, quality and programme delivery.

You will manage inductions, liaise with site teams, and monitor materials while maintaining clear communication. This 8-month assignment offers a negotiable day rate and support from the Acorn by Synergie team.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as Site Manager at a similar scale
• Experience managing roofing and cladding contracts
• CSCS Card holder
• SMSTS Certification
• First Aid Certification
• Strong understanding of construction site health and safety
• Confident managing trades, subcontractors and site teams
• Proactive and organised approach
• Ability to take ownership and work independently

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations for roofing and cladding works
• Liaise with trades, subcontractors and site teams
• Coordinate and monitor materials and deliveries
• Ensure works align with programme and quality standards
• Carry out site inductions for new personnel
• Enforce site health and safety procedures
• Maintain clear communication across the site team
• Open and close the site each day
• Drive smooth delivery of the project from start to finish
