Job summary

4Way Recruitment Ltd in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Fire Extinguisher Engineer for installation, servicing and maintenance of portable extinguishers across commercial and residential sites. You will manage your daily service schedule and liaise with clients.

The role requires BAFE certification and a full UK driving licence; basic salary £32,500 with on-target earnings of £38,000+ and a £1,500 joining bonus for fully trained engineers.

Qualifications

• BAFE Certification required and highly preferred.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience as Fire Extinguisher Technician or Engineer.
• Confident in customer-facing interactions.
• Ability to manage own workload and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and installation of portable fire extinguishers across commercial and residential sites.
• Manage your daily service schedule, planning routes and appointments efficiently.
• Communicate directly with customers to arrange and confirm service visits.
• Record completed work accurately via PDA-based service reports.
• Work independently in the field, presenting the company professionally at all times.
• Ensure all work complies with current fire safety legislation and health & safety standards.
