Yolk Recruitment Ltd in Cardiff is seeking an ambitious Corporate Associate to join the Commercial & Corporate team. Hybrid working is available with a strong pipeline of work across mergers, acquisitions and advisory matters for owner-managed businesses, growth companies and national corporates.

The role offers clear progression in a leading practice with a focus on pragmatic, commercially focused advice and client relationship growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with likely 2+ PQE in corporate and/or commercial law.
• Strong technical skills with experience handling transactional and advisory work.
• Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to client service.
• Strong drafting, communication and negotiation skills.
• A proactive team player with ambition to progress.
• Experience gained within a respected regional or national firm.

Responsibilities

• Advising on mergers, acquisitions, disposals and corporate restructures.
• Drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements, investment documents and constitutional documents.
• Supporting clients on joint ventures, group reorganisations and strategic transactions.
• Advising on a range of commercial contracts including supply agreements, terms of business, agency and distribution agreements.
• Working closely with clients to provide commercially practical legal advice.
• Managing your own matters with support from senior colleagues where required.
• Playing an active role in networking, business development and growing client relationships.
