Band 6 Cardiac Research Practitioner (CRP)/ Cardiac Research Nurse

Applications are invited for an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced Clinical Research Practitioner (CRP) or Research Nurse to join the dynamic and renowned Cardiac Research Department at Northwick Park Hospital, London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.

This full-time permanent role is ideal for someone with existing clinical research experience seeking to advance their career. A genuine commitment to improving patient outcomes and working proactively within an innovative team is essential.

The successful candidate will lead the coordination of a portfolio of clinical research studies, including commercial CTIMPS, in cardiovascular conditions, following ICH-GCP guidelines. Responsibilities encompass all aspects of the research lifecycle from conception to closeout, including patient recruitment, managing visit schedules, assessments, and ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.

Key responsibilities include recruiting patients, coordinating visit schedules as per protocols, and maintaining precise research data. The post holder will work independently or as part of a team to organize clinical trials or approved research projects, providing excellent, safety-focused patient care and liaising effectively with healthcare professionals. Maintaining clinical and administrative skills relevant to cardiovascular care and research procedures is also required.
