Job Overview

Shift Pattern

The post involves day shifts from 8am to 4pm. Please note that the salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.

About the Service

The NHSGG&C Cardiac Rehabilitation Service aims to deliver high-quality, person-centred rehabilitation to cardiac patients and their carers, referred from the acute division. The service provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a diverse range of conditions in various environments, utilizing physical, behavioural, and cognitive modalities to aid recovery following surgery, illness, injury, dysfunction, or disease. The service also emphasizes health promotion and self-management.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist care and education to patients with cardiac conditions.
• Manage a complex clinical caseload independently, delivering tailored packages of care to patients and their families.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams from primary and secondary care.

Requirements

• First Level Registered Nurse with at least 3 years of post-registration experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' nursing experience in Cardiology or Cardiac Surgery.
• Ability to meet the criteria outlined in the job description.
