Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a Cardiac Physiologist to join The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) and permanent, with a salary up to £49,500 per year.

The team performs a broad range of non-invasive cardiac tests and interventional assistance within the Cardiology department. The ideal candidate will have a Clinical Physiology degree (or equivalent), accreditation in echocardiography or related devices, and specialist Imaging or CRM expertise.

Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC.
• Device or Echocardiography accreditation (BHRS/BHRE/BSE).
• Highly specialised in Imaging or CRM.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring.
• Carry out and report on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments.
• Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and right heart studies.
• Monitor and record intra-cardiac pressures and waveforms during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Conduct pacemaker, ICD, and CRT device checks and follow-ups in accordance with current guidelines.
• Analyse device data and provide expert interpretation to guide clinical decisions.

We have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join their team of staff in theCardiology department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Perform and interpret a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring.
• Carry out and report on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments.
• Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and right heart studies.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice.
• Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
• A degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
• Device or Echocardiography accreditation (BHRS/BHRE/BSE)
• Must be highly specialised in either Imaging or CRM.
