NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is hiring a Band 5 Cardiac Physiologist for a permanent, full-time role. This position involves providing essential diagnostic services in a professional and efficient manner, with in-house support and training to meet established healthcare standards. The successful candidate will work to ensure safe and effective clinical care at Gartnavel General Hospital and may be required to support other hospital sites.

This is a permanent, full-time position with the following shift pattern: Monday to Thursday, 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:45 AM to 4:30 PM.
The role is for a Band 5 Cardiac Physiologist. Support and training will be provided in-house over 2 to 3 years to help trainees meet standards set by NHS Education for Scotland (NES) and the Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS).
The main purpose of the job is to provide diagnostic services to cardiac and non-cardiac patients attending Gartnavel General Hospital.
The post holder will assist in delivering a professional, high-quality, and efficient cardiac diagnostic service, supporting the Physiology Services Manager and Team Leads to ensure safe and effective clinical care.
As part of the South Sector team, the postholder may be required to work at other hospital sites.
