Cardiac Physiologist

Nuffield at St Bartholomew's Hospital | Physiology | Bank Contract | Part Time | Salary up to £45.00 per hour dependent on experience

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Cardiac Physiologist at our hospital, you’ll hold either a BTEC ONC and HNC in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement, or a BSc in Clinical Science /Physiology (or equivalent). You’re currently registered with the RCCP as a Clinical Physiologist. Ideally, you’re also accredited with SCST and BSE. You’re flexible, motivated and a team player.

As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will:

  1. Be part of the team doing great work in our Cardiac Unit
  2. Carry out echo cardiograms
  3. Provide clinical supervision in line with statutory requirements
  4. Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with professional, statutory and organisational guidelines

We’ve opened the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew’s Hospital: The City of London’s only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew’s NHS hospital. This is our flagship center for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology and urology services.

Our hospital consists of 55 beds, including 7 Specialist intensive care beds, four of the most advanced digital operating theatres and Endoscopy and minor ops theatre. With 28 consultation rooms, a Cardiac catheterisation lab, Oncology Day unit and a full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray.
