Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Physiologist to join the Cardiac Unit on a bank, ad hoc basis. You will perform, interpret and report adult transthoracic echocardiograms while maintaining high standards of patient care, safety and dignity.

You will support consultants and the team, keep accurate records in PACS/RIS, and participate in CPD and quality initiatives. The role requires RCCP registration (and BSE accreditation if possible), a related degree, and a track record

Qualificações

• Degree in Clinical Physiology or Healthcare Science (Cardiac Science) or equivalent.
• Registered with RCCP/AHCS or equivalent.
• Accreditation with BSE.
• Experience in cardiac investigations and diagnostic testing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient-focused, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Knowledge of current cardiac physiology standards and best practice.

As a Cardiac Physiologist at our Cambridge Hospital, you’ll hold either a BTEC ONC and HNC in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement, or a BSc in Clinical Science /Physiology (or equivalent). You’re currently registered with the RCCP as a Clinical Physiologist. Ideally, you’re also accredited with SCST and BSE. You’re flexible, motivated and a team player.

As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will:

• Perform, interpret and report adult Transthoracic Echocardiograms

We are looking for an individual who:

• Holds a degree in Clinical Physiology, Healthcare Science (Cardiac Science) or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Is registered with an appropriate professional body such as RCCP, AHCS or equivalent
• Has accreditation with BSE
• Has experience in cardiac investigations and diagnostic testing.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is patient-focused, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Shows commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Knowledge of current cardiac physiology standards and best practice.
