We are seeking a flexible and motivated Band 5 Cardiac Physiologist to join our supportive, dynamic, and friendly team working across hospital sites in Oxford and Banbury, as well as community settings across the county. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop their clinical skills in various areas of Cardiac Physiology and pursue a self-directed approach to professional growth.
The department encourages active involvement with professional bodies, with regular representation at council level with BHRS and BCIS. We support Modernising Scientific Careers, offering opportunities for students from Apprentice to HSST levels. Additionally, we serve as a practical assessment centre for BSE and participate in STP shortlisting and interviews for the National School for Healthcare Science.
Professional development is highly encouraged, with support available to attain BHRS and/or BSE accreditation, facilitating career progression. The department has established links with the University and is actively involved in research, regularly performing live cases as part of national and international training programs.
