The Cardiac Physiologist role within NHS Jobs at Royal Brompton Hospital contributes to an efficient Cardiac Physiology Service by performing a range of non-invasive and invasive cardiac investigations and training colleagues as appropriate.

You will work independently and as part of a team, participate in teaching trainee Cardiac Physiologists and related apprentices, and engage in quality control and audits to support clinical excellence.

Responsabilités

• Participates in a range of tests and procedures, non-invasive and invasive investigations (when trained).
• Assists senior colleagues with training and development of trainee Cardiac Physiologists and apprenticeship Cardiac Physiologists.
• Participates in external and in-house training programmes, providing education to other health service/allied professionals.
• Assist in the running of designated sections of the Cardiology Department and contribute to clinical governance and audits.

Participates and actively contributes to an efficient and effective Cardiac Physiology Service at Royal Brompton Hospital. Performs and assists in a range of tests and procedures, encompassing all non-invasive and invasive cardiac investigations (when appropriately trained) within the hospital. Be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Assists with senior colleagues with departments continuing commitment to training and development of trainee STP/PTP and apprenticeship Cardiac Physiologists and associated practitioners. Participates in external and in-house training programmes, providing education and training to other health service / allied professionals. Assist in the running of designated sections of the Cardiology Department. Participates in quality control and technical audit as part of the trusts clinical governance programme and the cardiology departments aim of clinical excellence.

£55,524 - £62,652 Per Annum Inclusive of Outer HCAS and £7000 R&R premium
