Bluetree Recruits is partnering with a Cambridge-based MedTech company to recruit an experienced Cardiac Physiologist for a senior, part-time role in its remote cardiac reporting service. The Diagnostics Lead Reviewer will ensure clinical quality, sign off reports, and support turnaround times.

You'll review Holter analyses, correct misclassifications, and escalate urgent findings per protocol while working with a distributed team under the Director of Cardiac Physiology. UK-based remote role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience focusing on ECG and Holter reporting.
• Proven track record of independently reporting ambulatory Holter recordings.
• Experience reviewing or signing off Holter analysis and reports.
• Excellent written reporting skills and strong clinical attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and sign off 24/48-hour and extended ambulatory ECG reports.
• Check automated and physiologist-led analyses and correct misclassifications.
• Ensure accurate identification of arrhythmias and conduction abnormalities.
• Escalate urgent findings per protocol.
• Provide reporting cover when workload peaks.
• Identify recurring errors and suggest process improvements.

Cardiac Physiologist Reporter / Diagnostic Lead Reviewer Fully Remote (UK-Based)

Bluetree Recruits is delighted to recruiting for an innovative MedTech company in Cambridge to find an experienced Cardiac Physiologist for a senior, part-time role in its growing remote cardiac reporting service. This is a permanent part time role but you must be based in the UK.

The role

As Diagnostic Lead Reviewer, you'll be the clinical quality check at the heart of the service. You'll review Holter analysis and draft reports prepared by junior reporters, confirm the findings are accurate and clinically meaningful, and sign off reports to a high standard. When demand requires, you'll also report recordings yourself to keep turnaround times on track.

This is a fully remote role with flexible hours, to be agreed. You'll work within a distributed team led by the Director of Cardiac Physiology and help shape the quality standards of a technology-enabled reporting service.

What you'll be doing

• Reviewing and signing off 24-hour, 48-hour and extended (7, 14 and 30-day+) ambulatory ECG analysis and reports
• Checking automated and physiologist-led analysis, and correcting misclassified beats, events and artefact
• Making sure arrhythmias and conduction abnormalities are accurately identified and correlated with symptoms
• Escalating urgent or life-threatening findings in line with protocols
• Providing reporting cover when workload peaks
• Spotting recurring errors and recommending improvements to reporting processes

What you'll bring

• At least 7 years' post-qualification experience, with a strong focus on ECG monitoring and Holter reporting
• A proven track record of independently reporting ambulatory ECG Holter recordings
• Experience reviewing or signing off Holter analysis and reports
• Expert rhythm interpretation and excellent written reporting skills
• BSc (Hons) in Physiological Sciences, Clinical Physiology or equivalent
• RCCP registration or equivalent
• Your own professional indemnity insurance
• A reliable, secure home working set-up
• Experience of using multiple Holter platforms (including AI-assisted analysis) or hold an IBHRE certification.
