Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited cardiovascular or radiologic technology program.
  • Current state certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.

Summary:

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist I is responsible for scrubbing and assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This includes evaluating patient's hemodynamic status and vital signs using monitoring equipment and managing images during procedures.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  1. Education: Graduate of School of Cardiovascular Technology or School of Radiologic Technology.
  2. License/Certifications: For Radiologic Technologists: current applicable state certification as a Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  3. Experience: Relevant clinical experience preferred.
