Due to continuous growth, Linney Display is offering an exciting opportunity for a Cardboard Engineer to join our award-winning team. The right candidate might come from a background in cardboard engineering, packaging, structural design, or product design.

We are seeking a problem solver who enjoys challenges and works well within a diverse team to develop highly creative concepts into final products or displays.

Candidates should have experience with engineering software such as Artios CAD, AutoCAD, Kasemake, Impact, or similar. Our designs balance creativity and practicality, ensuring displays are innovative, eye-catching, cost-effective, and compliant with brand and retailer guidelines. Teamwork and collaboration are central to our culture, involving working closely with 3D Designers, Graphic Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers.

As a Cardboard/Structural Designer, your responsibilities include:

• Generating award-winning cardboard engineering cutter guides.
• Understanding manufacturing processes and applying value engineering to develop efficiencies.
• Conducting weight testing and experimenting with new structures, prototypes, and materials.
• Communicating effectively with designers and sales teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and retail guidelines.
• Handling a range of briefs from simple shelf trays to complex free-standing displays and event setups.
• Thriving in a fast-paced studio environment and adapting quickly to changing priorities.
• Pushing creative boundaries and challenging conventions.
