Job summary

Croydon Council is seeking a Carbon Neutral Support Officer to support the delivery of the Council's Climate Action Plan and sustainability programmes.

Working within the Carbon Neutral Programme team, you will help coordinate climate projects, monitor progress, manage data and reporting, support stakeholder engagement, and contribute to initiatives that reduce carbon emissions and strengthen community resilience.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting projects, programmes or service delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of climate and sustainability projects.
• Monitor programme performance, data and carbon reduction activities.
• Prepare reports, briefings, presentations and communications.
• Organise meetings, workshops, events and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Maintain project records, trackers and documentation.
