Fastmarkets is seeking a Strategic Industry Expert (SIE) – Carbon Markets in the United Kingdom to translate our carbon offering into tailored solutions for customers. You will work with customers to understand their carbon ambitions and collaborate with analysts to deliver targeted value engagements.

The role requires deep knowledge of global carbon markets (voluntary and compliance) and a commercial mindset to support our sales ambition across new business and existing accounts.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in carbon or carbon-adjacent markets with in-depth understanding of carbon data offerings.
• Proven track record working with sales on business development or collaborating with sales teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent communication skills, with success in both one-on-one and large group presentations.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills; able to work across departments.

Aufgaben

• Support growth of Fastmarkets’ carbon business across carbon, carbon credits, CBAM, and related fields.
• Collaborate with account management and new business teams to deliver compelling engagements, proposals and post-renewal adoption of the carbon suite.
• Drive growth through cross-sell opportunities within Fastmarkets’ largest customers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and network across the industry.
• Work with cross-functional teams to refine strategies and improve product offerings for the region.
• Conduct and document high-impact pre- and post-sales activities and contribute to sales planning.
• Travel for client meetings, conferences, and regional seminars.
