About RSK’s Carbon and Sustainability team

Our team is a fast-paced business providing quality sustainability and environmental advice and assurance across various sectors. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Carbon, Climate & Sustainability Consultant to join our team.

Role Overview

As part of the Nature Positive team, you will support and deliver BREEAM assessments for diverse clients and sectors, and assist with sustainability and energy statements. You will also play a key role in delivering industry-leading sustainability projects.

Main Responsibilities

1. Supporting works in carbon LCA (embodied, construction, and operational).
2. Supporting broader activities within the Carbon and Sustainability team.
3. Assisting with project administration and financial management.
4. Performing additional tasks as reasonably expected to meet the company's evolving needs.

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

• Relevant undergraduate degree or qualification in a related subject.
• Proven project management experience or willingness to develop into a project manager role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Desirable:

• Experience with energy modelling tools (e.g., SBEM, SAP).
• Background in the environmental sector/industry.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., MIEMA, CEnv).
• Full UK driving license is advantageous.

Person Specification

You should be a team player with an energetic outlook and a positive, flexible attitude. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Excel, and strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
