Anglian Water’s purpose is ‘to bring environmental and social prosperity to the region we serve through our commitment to Love Every Drop’. As a company the focus is on enshrining purpose in everything we do including a change to the company’s Articles of Association, legally enshrining public interest within the constitutional make-up of the business. This is important because increasingly people (customers) want companies to deliver not just for shareholders but for the environment and communities too.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Carbon & Sustainability Manager to join the team.
The role is required to support the development of the Reservoir Projects. Initially the role will support the successful submission of the Development Consent Orders (DCO) in line with the sustainability requirements, particularly within the National Policy Statement (NPS). The role will then be required to support the subsequent stages of development and delivery. The role will ensure the projects are developed and designed in alignment with policy requirements (incl. NPS) and the ambitions of other stakeholders, particularly Anglian Water. The carbon footprint of the projects dwarves all other recent Anglian Water Projects and provides an unrivalled opportunity to deliver on Anglian Water's purpose.
