Job summary

Neutreeno is seeking a Carbon Analysis Engineer to automate emissions insights and build scalable data pipelines. You’ll join a fast-growing startup environment with exposure to emissions science and data engineering across diverse industrial sectors.

The role combines engineering, climate science and customer delivery, with hybrid work and substantial equity opportunities as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Python-based tooling to build pipelines
• Experience with carbon accounting under leading frameworks (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, CBAM, PACT)
• Understanding industrial processes and energy systems
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Excellent communication, able to explain complex topics to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Own current customer delivery pipeline: extraction, validation and interpretation of data against mass/energy balances.
• Deliver end-to-end automation of the data pipeline (ingestion -> extraction -> validation -> analysis).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape new reporting features and decarbonisation insights.
• Support ISO/PACT/Greenhouse Gas Protocol tracking and encode methodologies into reporting logic.
