Job description

Nick Pelosi Ltd is a family run car transport movement business that collects and delivers cars all over the UK; we work with the largest dealership groups up and down the length of the country.

We move cars and vans all over the UK for dealers, lease companies, TV companies, private car companies, private individuals.

We collect from the Ports for dealerships groups, we deliver brand new cars to companies and private houses on behalf of the dealership groups for their customers.

You will not only be collecting and delivering cars but also handing the cars over to customers. This is called doing a 'handover'. ‘The Handover’ is completed on every new car delivery for our customers and as a company we sign up to an SLA agreement which is a specialist process, to achieve this to the best of your ability, we will provide full training.

Loading a car transporter can be a tricky business but we will give you all the training you need so you can achieve the work given to you everyday whilst being confident in doing so.

You will need to be fit and agile to load and unload your car transporter at all times.

We are looking for drivers with a C+E licence to drive a 10T rigid with a small 3.5T car trailer but you may be asked to drive other combinations i.e. 13T 3 car and/or Class 1 artic with 5 car trailer

Your working hours will start at the time that suits the run for the day so it is a flexible start and finish. A 4am start is not uncommon and 50/60 hour weeks, 12-14hour days are a regular thing.

Overtime is guaranteed for best earning potential and you may be asked to do nights out but that is not a given.

Guaranteed 48 hours per week, this is £36,192 With overtime and nights out you will gross over £42k per annum.
