Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Sales Manager for our Huddersfield Skoda operation. A competitive basic salary of £35,000 with an achievable OTE up to £60,000 accompanies the role, with a strong focus on leading a sales team to exceed targets.

Responsibilities

• To achieve and strive to exceed all targets and sales objectives through a well-developed and motivated sales team.
• Ensure the sales team have full knowledge and understanding of product, promotional and marketing activities, and communicate visions and goals to staff by planning and preparing for daily sales meetings.
• Ensure that the department is adequately staffed to achieve departmental objectives.
• Conduct a detailed induction with all new sales personnel, and monitor achievements and review performance through the development process.
• Develop training and development of the sales executives to improve performance and career progression.
• Work with Head of Sales to formulate policies and procedures for maximum profitability.
• Plan and monitor sales campaigns, advertising and promotions to maximise car and extras sales and maintain a positive retailer image.
• Analyse current procedures to identify opportunities for improvements.
• Build rapport with financial institutions and other businesses.
• Maximise sales and profitability through customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
