• Lead and motivate a sales team to meet and exceed targets.
• Ensure knowledge of product and promotions among staff and communicate visions for daily sales meetings.
• Ensure the department is adequately staffed to achieve objectives.
• Conduct inductions with new sales personnel and monitor performance through development reviews.
• Manage training and development of sales executives to aid career progression.
• Delegate responsibilities to staff and monitor progress to complete tasks as directed.
• Work with Head of Sales to formulate policies to maximise profitability.
• Develop strategies and action plans to increase business and achieve sales targets.
• Plan, oversee and monitor campaigns, promotions and activities to maximise car and extras sales and maintain a professional retailer image.
• Analyse procedures to identify opportunities for improvements.
• Build rapport with financial institutions and other relevant businesses.
• Maximise sales and profitability through customer satisfaction and retention.
• Communicate with customers to establish needs and maintain relationships; handle complaints sensitively.
