Our client is a franchised car dealership, who are now seeking to recruit a Sales Manager for their busy site.

This is a hands-on position, working within a small and busy dealership in Reading. You will be overseeing the daily activities of 2x Sales Executives, and could be a great opportunity for an existing Business Manager, Transaction Manager, Sales Controller, or Senior Sales Executive who is now looking to take their first Sales Manager position.

Sales Manager Role

  • To report to the Brand Director, you will be coordinating the daily activities of the Sales Executives.
  • To provide support, coaching, and assistance to maximize sales volume and profitability, being primarily responsible for achieving both chassis and F&I KPI’s.
  • To be experienced with all aspects of the F&I functions in order to maximize sales profitability.
  • To oversee the enquiry management process.
  • To promote at all times the professional image of the dealership and ensure that customer satisfaction standards are maintained.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records for vehicle sales and finance transactions to facilitate regular reviews of performance against targets.
  • To be involved in vehicle part-exchange appraisals, valuations, controlling, and sales deals.

About You

  • Experience of working as either a Sales Controller, Business Manager, or Transaction Manager is ideal.
  • Good working knowledge of Kerridge or an alternative; DO training will be provided to build on your existing knowledge of systems and to comply with FSA regulation.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
  • A positive, customer-focused attitude and approach to your work.
  • Proven experience with strong exposure to selling, finance, invoicing, managing accounts, staff management, and administrative duties.
  • Valid driving license.

Package

Basic Salary up to £35,000 – OTE £60,000
