Our Client

Our client is a franchised car dealership seeking to recruit a Sales Manager for their busy site.

This is a hands-on role within a small, busy dealership in Reading. You will oversee the daily activities of 2 Sales Executives and it presents a great opportunity for an existing Business Manager, Transaction Manager, Sales Controller, or Senior Sales Executive looking to step into their first Sales Manager position.

Sales Manager Role
  1. Report to the Brand Director and coordinate the daily activities of the Sales Executives.
  2. Support, coach, and assist to maximise sales volume and profitability, primarily responsible for achieving chassis and F&I KPIs.
  3. Be experienced with all aspects of F&I functions to maximise sales profitability.
  4. Oversee the enquiry management process.
  5. Promote the professional image of the dealership and ensure customer satisfaction standards are maintained.
  6. Maintain accurate records of vehicle sales and finance transactions for performance reviews.
  7. Participate in vehicle part-exchange appraisals, valuations, and sales deals.
About You
  • Experience as a Sales Controller, Business Manager, or Transaction Manager is ideal.
  • Good working knowledge of Kerridge or alternative systems; training will be provided.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Positive, customer-focused attitude.
  • Proven experience in sales, finance, invoicing, managing accounts, staff management, and administrative duties.
  • Valid driving licence.
Package

Basic Salary up to £35,000 – OTE £60,000
