As a Delivery Driver for Motor Parts Direct, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering car parts to customers in a timely manner. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver car parts to local customers.
  • Plan and organize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines.
  • Load and unload car parts, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
  • Verify delivery orders against documentation.
  • Address customer inquiries professionally and courteously.
  • Maintain the delivery vehicle, perform routine inspections, and report maintenance issues.
  • Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team for inventory management and order fulfilment.
  • Complete delivery paperwork, including confirmations and customer signatures.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
  • Good knowledge of local roads and traffic.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
  • Attention to detail in verifying orders.
