Car Parking Attendant

Based - Raynesway Derby

Hours - 40hrs per week (Monday to Friday)

What this job involves:As a Car Parking Attendant at JLL, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service in our parking facilities across our Rolls-Royce contract at Raynesway, Derby. You'll be the face of JLL, greeting clients and visitors with a warm smile while efficiently managing vehicle flow and maintaining a safe parking environment.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Monitor and control vehicle access to designated JLL-managed parking facilities
• Issue parking permits and collect fees where applicable
• Provide clear directions and parking assistance to tenants and visitors
• Maintain security and safety within the car park
• Conduct regular patrols of the parking facility
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve parking-related issues professionally
• Ensure parking regulations are followed and take appropriate action when necessary
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns through proper channels
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks and ensure parking areas remain clean and presentable
• Liaise with property management teams regarding any operational issues
• Able to work as part of a Team or on own when required.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid UK driving licence preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanour
• Strong communication abilities
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to stand for extended periods and walk throughout shifts
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required
• Understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to parking facilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in parking operations or customer service roles in the UK
• Knowledge of UK traffic laws and local council parking regulations
• Experience in conflict resolution and problem-solving
• Proficiency in using mobile devices and basic computer applications
