University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship for Band 2 and Band 3 roles. This is in accordance with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as these roles do not meet the skill nor salary threshold for sponsorship. If you hold a graduate visa, you are welcome to apply for this role; however, UHNM will be unable to offer sponsorship at the end of your graduate visa. You must also have at least six months remaining until your graduate visa expires at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a busy Car Parking & Security Team within the Directorate of Estates, Facilities & PFI. The post holder will be responsible for a full range of Car Parking and Security duties within the Car Parking & Security Department at County Hospital.
Pay
Staff will benefit from enhanced payments on top of their basic hourly pay as outlined below:
Car Parking and Security is a 24-hour, 365-day service. The successful candidate will be expected to work 37.5 hours, 5 out of 7 days through a rolling rota shift pattern.
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to join our Car Parking & Security team who provide and maintain a professional, efficient, effective, and timely service to patients, visitors, and departments. Experience in this type of role is beneficial but not essential, as full training can be provided.
Car Parking & Security services are provided at the hospital 24/7, including weekends. A flexible approach to work, smart appearance, good communication skills, and a high standard of customer care are required.
The position involves long periods of walking, managing the County hospital car parks, dealing with alarms, monitoring CCTV and security incidents, including restraint as required.
