Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Cleaner / Labourer to support a team on a car park renovation project in Salford Quays. The role is short-term, full-time hours, 8:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday, for approximately two weeks with immediate start and weekly pay.

The job offers a £12.71 per hour rate, pension contributions, access to the Acorn Rewards Scheme, and dedicated account manager support. You will maintain cleanliness, assist with general duties, and follow health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning, labouring or general site experience is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and responsible approach to work.
• Ability to follow straightforward instructions.
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Ability to carry out cleaning duties to the required standard.
• Comfortable using cleaning materials and equipment safely.
• Good communication skills and ability to build positive working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the car park.
• Carry out cleaning and general labouring duties safely and responsibly.
• Remove, store and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Safely use cleaning materials and equipment.
• Look after equipment, materials and storage areas.
• Identify and report any building, equipment or maintenance issues.
• Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
• Support the wider site team with ad hoc duties as required.
