Job summary

An established automotive workshop in Chesham is seeking a Mechanic / MOT Tester to join their busy and reputable team. The role includes carrying out repairs, diagnostics, and servicing on vehicles while ensuring high standards. This position offers a good salary between £30,000 and £45,000 depending on experience, along with training opportunities and a positive work environment. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm and every other Saturday.

Qualifications

• Must be fully qualified at Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds).
• Experience within a busy workshop or Main Dealership is key.
• Expertise with Service, Diagnostics and Repairs is essential.
• Must have a clean driving license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs to manufacturing warranty standards.
• Report faults and service requirements.
• Undertake vehicle road testing for diagnosis.
• Servicing, Repairs and Diagnostics on new and used vehicles.
