Job Opportunity: Car Driver / Yard Operative

Location: Royal Portbury Dock, Bristol

Hours: Full-time / Day Shift / 07 30

Pay Rate: GBP12.41 to GBP24.82 per hour

Start Date: 28th July 2025

Are you passionate about cars? Do you enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team? We are recruiting Car Drivers / Yard Operatives to assist in managing and moving brand-new vehicles across secure compounds at Bristol Port.

The Role:

  • Drive and park brand-new right-hand drive vehicles within large port-based storage areas.
  • Adhere to strict safety procedures and site traffic protocols.
  • Conduct visual inspections and report any damage or issues.
  • Support yard operations including stock management, car park organisation, and key control.

What We re Looking For:

  • Full UK driving licence (Category B) clean licence preferred.
  • Confidence driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
  • Strong attention to detail and a safety-first approach.
  • Punctual, reliable, and a team player.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or logistics/port environment is advantageous but not essential full training will be provided.
