Job Description:

Calian has an exciting opportunity for a Capture Manager to join our corporate team.

Position Overview

The Capture Manager (NATO) will work closely with the Senior Director Business Development (Calian Europe) to provide capture, proposal, and bid win support. This position is remote and based in Europe.

Responsibilities

Support the Senior Director Business Development in:

  • Championing new tenders and renewing existing contracts, influencing proposal requirements.
  • Collaborating with Calian Proposals to develop the Technical Bid and manage proposal timelines, compliance, and submission requirements.
  • Identifying and coordinating SME inputs for tenders.
  • Reviewing proposals and attending pricing meetings.
  • Supporting the Bid approvals process.
  • Supporting opportunity-specific "Capture Plans" and "win strategies".
  • Managing accounts during the ramp-up and delivery period until formal handover to Operations.
  • Working with the Calian Europe Director of Operations and recruiting team.
  • Identifying internal process improvements.
  • Providing general support to Calian Europe, including quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.

Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain a NATO SECRET security clearance.
  • Deep understanding of defence, NATO, and related terminology.
  • Experience leading and contributing to proposals and tenders, especially NATO-specific tenders.
  • At least five years of success in developing winning bids.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Flexible approach with initiative and minimal supervision.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Degree or equivalent skills and knowledge.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Professional, positive demeanor reflecting well on the organization.
