Emerald Airlines is seeking an experienced Captain to lead ATR 72-600 operations from Belfast, delivering safe journeys while mentoring crew and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer care.

Applicants must hold a CAA ATPL (ICAO) with a current Class 1 medical and have unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom. Training qualifications and type-rating on ATR 72-600 are advantageous; direct entry captains are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.
• At least 1,000 hours on large multi-crew transport aircraft (>5,700 kg).
• Current CAA ATPL (ICAO) and current Class 1 medical.
• Unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
• ATR 72-600 type rating advantageous but not required; training qualification advantageous.
• Both type-rated and non-type-rated Direct Entry Captains welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Command ATR 72-600 operations per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Lead a multi-crew flight deck with CRM and sound decision-making.
• Oversee flight planning, performance, fuel, weather, and turnarounds for on-time performance.
• Foster a safe, collaborative, professionalism-driven environment with customers, crew, and partners.
