CareTech Group recherche un Capital Works Surveyor pour gérer des projets d'investissement au sein de ses divers sites au Royaume-Uni. The Caretech Group provides care and education to both children and adults in registered and supported living services, serving over 5000 service users across more than 700 sites nationwide, including Wales and Scotland. Our services span various divisions, such as Children’s, Children’s Education Services, Adult Care, Day Care, and Specialist Services, including Mental Health, ABI, and other specialized provisions.

We are seeking a Capital Works Surveyor with proven experience in managing capital investment projects within real estate or property management. This full-time role requires an experienced, proactive individual to deliver efficient property management services.

This role offers variety, requiring enthusiasm, a can-do attitude, and a passion for going the extra mile, as you will take ownership of surveying properties and delivering Capex works.

The position covers South East Wales up to the Midlands. It is primarily home-based with required travel.

Candidate Profile

• Highly organized, a great communicator, resilient, flexible, and a team player. You should also be:
• Experienced in a similar Capital Works Surveyor role, with a track record of delivering projects and maintenance across complex estates.
• Qualified to degree level or hold an equivalent professional qualification in a related environment.
• Knowledgeable about building and construction processes, planning, building control, and statutory compliance.
• Capable of working independently and under pressure, using good initiative and judgment, while also collaborating on larger projects.
• Experienced with contracts, writing schedules of works, and tender processes.
• Analytical, methodical, detail-oriented, and proficient in Excel.
• Good at prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is beneficial but not essential.
• Flexible to travel across locations, including overnight stays when needed.
• A car driver is essential due to the requirement for national travel.
