Job summary

Houlihan Lokey’s Capital Solutions Group is seeking a Summer Financial Analyst in London. You will work on live deals across Debt Advisory, Equity Private Placements, Directs & Secondaries, and Primary Capital Advisory, supporting origination, marketing, and client materials.

You’ll learn from experienced professionals while applying your accounting, corporate finance, and valuation knowledge in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Must be in your penultimate year of study at a highly regarded university.
• Strong understanding of accounting, corporate finance and valuation methodologies.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and coordinate a variety of different projects with an organized approach.
• Desirable: experience/ knowledge of Equity/Debt Capital Markets or the broader Private Equity industry.
• Desirable: knowledge of valuation methodologies and financial modelling (e.g. LBO or DCF models).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to live deal engagements across Debt Advisory, Equity Private Placements, Directs & Secondaries, and Primary Capital Advisory.
• Support origination, marketing efforts, and client materials.
• Learn from and assist senior bankers through the deal lifecycle.
