Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Product Owner for Capital Risk Technology: Regulatory Reporting in Glasgow. You will help shape strategic reporting capabilities across Risk, Finance, Business and Technology, delivering data-driven solutions for global regulatory reporting and calculations.

You will join a Domain SME team supporting UK Regulatory Capital Reporting across Retail, Investment and Corporate Banking, covering C/V Risk, Market Risk, Securitisations, Leverage, RWA and Large Exposures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar, managing complex requirements and backlogs.
• Extensive Credit and/or Market Risk knowledge with regulatory reporting exposure.
• Translate regulatory/business requirements into data/system requirements and user stories.
• Strong data query/SQL skills to analyse information quickly for decisions.
• Delivery of technology projects using Agile methodologies with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and refine the product backlog, prioritising high-value features for regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with risk, finance, business and technology stakeholders to align product goals.
• Define acceptance criteria and verify delivered functionality against them.
• Communicate product vision to delivery teams and ensure delivery aligns with regulatory needs.
• Monitor product performance using KPIs and iterate based on feedback and risk considerations.
• Support readiness and run activities for live regulatory reporting products.
