Job summary

M&G Group Limited, the asset management arm of M&G plc, is seeking a Regulatory & Capital Accountant to strengthen the Financial Reporting team. You will support regulatory reporting, capital forecasting and MI production, and own key ICARA sections.

Reporting into the Regulatory and Capital Reporting Manager, you will engage with internal stakeholders and regulators, driving accurate data, robust controls, and timely submissions across UK regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory reporting within asset management or financial services.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Problem-solving and analytical mindset, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain capital model to forecast capital and liquidity resources.
• Prepare quarterly capital generation figures for the group.
• Prepare FCA returns for firm entities, including capital adequacy metrics.
• Prepare MI for seeding portfolio performance and hedging considerations.
• Manage dividend process and advise Boards on distributions.
• Calculate FCA fees and apply prudential regulations to data submissions.
• Contribute to ICARA sections including stress testing and recovery planning.
• Assist in Pillar 3 disclosure preparation and regulatory documents.
• Maintain regulatory control environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with colleagues and uphold strong controls.
