Capital Projects Manager
We are looking for a Capital Projects Manager to join our Estates Team based in Coventry.
MTC seeks an individual to support the Property Development Manager in delivering building and property projects. Responsibilities include reporting on project progress, managing budgets and timelines, coordinating with stakeholders, and overseeing external contractors.
Support capital projects within the Estates team, build relationships with architects and contractors, manage projects within budget, ensure compliance with funding and procurement policies, and oversee project documentation and financial control.
Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience
- Degree in a construction-related discipline, with 3-5 years post-qualified experience
- Experience in project or administrative roles, including cost management and project management
- Ability to develop CAD drawings
- Knowledge of construction contracts (JCT & NEC)
- Experience working with senior management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with good prioritization skills
Desirable Skills/Qualifications/Experience
- Experience in project management and contract management
- Knowledge of statutory regulations and sustainability projects
Role requires UK National Security Vetting.
