Job description

If you are an enthusiastic and self-motivated MEP Project Manager who enjoys a challenge, can demonstrate design, construction, and strategic project management experience, and are seeking a varied and fulfilling role, we want to hear from you.

We are open to candidates beyond those with an NHS background. Key qualities include a passion for delivering excellence, strong communication skills, and solid project management experience in Estates or Construction industries.

We offer a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package including NHS Pension, generous annual leave, and opportunities for further qualifications. These roles provide long-term security and an inclusive, friendly working environment.

Join the Estates and Facilities Department at Mid Cheshire Hospital, where a significant capital program addresses RAAC risk mitigation and a major hospital re-development project is underway to ensure state-of-the-art healthcare facilities for the future.

Reporting to a Senior Capital Project Manager, you will oversee building design and construction project management, taking lead responsibilities as directed. You will collaborate across the Estates and Facilities Division, liaise with Trust staff and project professionals, and manage projects of varying sizes from initial design to completion.

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides quality healthcare to Cheshire and beyond, managing Leighton Hospital, Victoria Infirmary, and Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre. The Trust employs nearly 5,000 staff and offers a wide range of services, including emergency care, maternity, outpatient services, therapies, and children's health.

We are part of the Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership, delivering community services across South Cheshire and Vale Royal. During the pandemic, our 'Be Safe Be EquiPPEd' campaign and workforce wellbeing initiatives received national recognition.

We value our staff and believe that caring for our colleagues is essential to providing the best patient care.
