The role involves developing and implementing capital management policies and procedures, providing specialist advice on projects ranging from £30K to £3m, for an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Your duties will include:

• Managing projects including construction, refurbishments, and installations
• Ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations during project delivery
• Conducting pre-inspections and specifying works for contractors
• Managing delegated capital projects, including business case development
• Monitoring contractors to ensure work quality, timeliness, and budget adherence
• Overseeing tender processes, on-site works, and project handover
• Providing technical advice to ensure compliance with legislation
• Preparing drawings, specifications, tender documents, and evaluation reports
• Coordinating with estate departments for smooth facility transitions
• Creating and reviewing method statements and risk assessments
