As a Capital Modelling Actuary at Brit, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and developing our internal capital model under the Solvency II regime. Your responsibilities include ensuring the model supports regulatory submissions and internal decision-making, while promoting its use across strategic and operational areas. You will oversee the day-to-day operation of the model, ensuring its outputs are timely, accurate, and integrated within our Risk Management Framework.
You will manage relationships with regulatory bodies such as the PRA, Lloyd’s, and the BMA, and support the preparation and presentation of model outputs to executive and board committees. Your work will involve integrating the model with other risk areas like investment and exposure management, and ensuring high-quality, reliable data inputs.
Additionally, you’ll collaborate with actuarial, finance, and underwriting teams, contribute to training and awareness initiatives for senior stakeholders, and support the Head of Capital in delivering reports to governance committees and regulators, ensuring all outputs meet quality and compliance standards.
